ENL

Welcome to the English as a New Language (ENL) Program at the elementary level! ENL is a support program designed to help students who are not native English speakers develop the language skills they need to thrive academically and socially. Our program focuses on building proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking—the four essential communication skills necessary for success in school and in the community.

Our team of ESOL-certified teachers works closely with classroom teachers and other service providers to create a collaborative learning environment. This approach allows for integrated language arts and content-area instruction, where ENL-specific strategies are used to teach English while also supporting other academic subjects.

We deeply value the culture, diversity, and unique experiences our students bring to the classroom. These diverse backgrounds enrich our learning community, and we view it as a true gift to be multilingual. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every student's culture and background are respected and celebrated.
